Parent training is one of the best investments of time and money I have ever made. Michelle makes it very affordable. As a result, I, from Idaho, have been able to travel to Arizona with my child and gain valuable skills in helping my child achieve baby milestones that she would not have done otherwise. My baby has spinal muscular atrophy, type one, and when diagnosed she could only move her eyes. Now at one year old, with the help of movement lesson and the newly developed miracle drug spinraza, she is starting to roll over; something that doctors thought would never have been possible. She can sit up with assistance. She can babble and take a little food by mouth. Baby Movement is amazing to watch in slow motion. I have never felt so much excitement seeing my child reach baby milestones. It is something that is easily taken for granted. I highly recommend the parent training for anyone, and if you can bring your baby, toddler, older child even better.

Movement Lesson™

Newborn Movement Assessment™  Training Certification

  • Join Michelle Turner, Movement Lesson™ expert, creator and author of the Newborn Movement Assessment™ (NMA) in a 2-day training seminar for parents, early interventionists and professionals to learn how to help the infants in your life by becoming NMA certified.

  • Earning your Continuing Education Credits during this  2-day course, you will learn step-by-step instructions on how to assess newborn movement patterns and stimulate optimal development through gentle touch.

  • The Newborn Movement Assessment™ (NMA) Guide. This guide intends to give parents and professionals the opportunity to assess an infant’s movements from birth throughout their first year of life. Presently, there are medical and genetic tests to assist, coordinate, and direct an infant’s doctors and nurses in order to identify current and potential health concerns. In contrast, the Newborn Movement Assessment™ introduces an effective comprehensive guide to determine short-term and long- term developmental concerns, and also optimize, and stimulate the baby’s movement patterns through gentle touch. The Newborn Movement Assessment™ is a tool for assessing any baby’s typical or atypical birth experience.
